fury...

The flame that licks,

Coaxing you into it’s warmth,

Slowly murmuring you into a simmer,

Then embracing you to the rage,

Finally… finally…

Exploding…

Unleashing that fire...

The same could be said of passion.

The same could be said of anger.

Mine is the milder of the two.

Anger.

At the world, at large.

Because, you cannot change it.

Would you try again....?

Would you burn with these flames...?

Or will you let them cool...

Would you ride away with the tide...?

i beg to differ that anger is the milder one. isnt anger more responsible for actions that are later on regretted over? what harm could passion posibly create?

Passion burns like no other emotion, I believe, and sometimes the fire is blinding so that you can't keep your thoughts straight. That's what passion is like for me but perhaps it differs for you. Passion can be wonderful and it can destroy. I believe it can range over the very extremes. Passion hurts more when it burns out and you see it's wake more hurting, more powerful when compared to anger.
Again, just my thoughts, thanks for dropping by, M :)

i presume your definition of passion comes direct from its literal meaning. Latin to suffer and endure. but then again as you said views differ from where one stands. your affinity maybe your cause of pain while mine possibly is my reason for living. Nice chatting with you.
